Boaz and Ruth

"Boaz and Ruth"

In the dining hall of "Beit-Lehem" you can see two paintings, capturing the love story of Ruth and Boaz. This happened in Bethlehem in the Age of Judges.
The right side of the diptych depicts the Moabitess of Ruth, and the left part of the image represents the Jew of Boaz. Blessed by God, Israel, loving hearts became one flesh, symbol of which is an olive tree that connects both pictures.
The story of Boaz and Ruth is the story of an unexpected love and a second chance that falls in life. After all, the Moabitess has found refuge with the God of Israel and refused to leave the Jewess Naomi, declaring resolutely and uncompromisingly: "Your people are my people, and your God is my God."
